Betty is a 6 year old Papillion ( meaning Butterfly), and she is owned by Barb and her husband  Don Easterly, who live in Rush, NY....Betty was previously owned by a man who had to find a home for her, since he was remarrying, and his new wife was allergic to dogs....SO Barb heard about Betty thru a friend and had Betty's owner come by one day, so that she and her husband could get acquainted with the dog....Betty walked right in the house like she had always lived there and did steal their hearts away.   This dog is a dream come true for anyone who wanted a small lap dog and didn't want the bother of potty training a  puppy.   Betty of course was trained and already had very good house manners......

 

      Barb and Don had lost their dog of 13 years in May, and Don went thru by pass surgery in June...when he came home from the hospital the house seemed so empty with out their "Pepper" dog, so Betty not only moved into their house but gave them something wonderful to care for and love.  Not only is she a very smart little dog, but full of curiosity and always ready to play with her ball, go out for a walk or ride in the car... she is really a joy to own and they will never understand  how anyone could just give a dog like this away...but it is his loss and their gain for sure..
