Ebony & Ivory
This unique style is not
only economical, but truly breathtaking. These portraits are created
using high quality white pencil on a matte black Strathmore paper. This
color combination makes the portrait "pop" and coordinates well
with almost any decor. Add custom cut oval matting (optional, but
recommended) for an
exquisite presentation of your portrait. Final portrait
is protected with a permanent fixative.

Graphite
This medium presents a very detailed and lifelike rendering in
black, grays, and white. Since I started my profession in
graphite, I believe they are my favorites.
PetSketch.com graphite portraits are rendered with Staedtler Mars
Lumograph pencils on a 100 pound Bristol vellum.

Pen & Ink
For an illustrated look with the heaviest contrast between black and
white, pen & ink is the best medium. Pen & Ink lends itself
perfectly for resizing and using on stationery. Some feel that pen
& ink demonstrates more of a "permanence."
PetSketch.com Pen & Ink portraits are rendered with Koh-I-Noor pens
using india ink on a 100 pound Bristol vellum.

OIL
The ultimate media for those desiring the very best. Oil provides a
true 3D look ... the same look the masters achieved with their
works. Because painting in oil requires a great deal more time to
render, they are priced higher than the other media offered.
PetSketch.com oil portraits are rendered with Winsor & Newton
oil paint on wood frame stretched canvas. |
