Rafie was born in May 1992. She
comes from the Caliente Racetrack in Mexico. I adopted her on May 27th, 1995
when she was 3 years old through Greyhound Pets Of America. She is very
shy
and when I brought her home from San Diego she was afraid of everything, the
broom, the mop and people. She has come along way but still is very shy.
She
was obviously abused. She became my best friend and would go everywhere
with
me. I felt bad leaving her home alone while I was at work so I decided
she
needed a playmate and running partner. I went to the Orange County
Humane
Society and was looking for a Welsh Corgi and they brought out Floyd (now
Keyser) and told me he was 1/2 greyhound and loved to run. I took him
home
and Rafie and I fell in love with him. I adopted Keyser 2 years after
Rafie. They are the best of friends and Keyser is easy going and
lets Rafie be the
boss. Turns out he has no Greyhound in him. as far as we can
tell he is
English Pointer and maybe a little Pit Bull. I adopted Keyser June
29th,
1997 when he was about 2 years old.
They share a home with 2 cats. Make a Fast Friend-Adopt a Greyhound.
